ABOUT ME

Chestnut Capital Management, LLC was formed by Anna Bailey in 2016 and sits as the Sub-Advisor to the Bluefin Advantage Fund, as the outsourced PM for 151 Capital, Waterford Life Fund, Morpheus Life Fund and Mondial Life Fund.

She began her carrier in 2007 as a Case Analyst then Quality Control Manager and ultimately becoming Director of Operations. Prior to the formation of Chestnut Capital Management, LLC, Anna’s most recent position was overseeing RiverRock’s life settlement platform based in Austin, Texas including screening and purchasing policies for 7 closed end Funds. Anna brings eighteen years of experience in the life settlement market. Prior to RiverRock, Anna was a Director at LifebondXchange based in Luxembourg, an exchange platform which services European interest in the US SLS tertiary market, where she focused on business development, due diligence, and transaction support. Anna joined Bluefin Alpha Growth as Head of the Advisory Board in October of 2018 giving oversight to investments made. Anna was Director of Business Development at MLF LexServ where she managed LexServ’s relationships with its life settlement portfolios/ fund managers.

Founding Member of ELSA participating in the Steering Group, later elected as Deputy Chairman and Chairman. She was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by ELSA members in recognition for her achievements on behalf of ELSA and the life settlement industry. In October of 2019, was elected by the International Life Markets Association (BVZL) as Head of the U.S. Sector.

Anna holds a BA in German with a double major in International Relations from the University of Buffalo and a Master of Arts Degree in Germanic Studies with a concentration in Language, Literature and Culture from the University of Maryland College Park.
